The Process

At Hunter Valley Homes, the building process is completed in a factory environment thus eliminating hold-ups due to weather. There are many advantages of choosing a home built within this environment as trades are working on a number of homes at one time on one site in a controlled environment. There is no need to worry about when the builder or electrician or plasterer is turning up as the first time you will see your new home is in a near completed state. The home leaves our factory almost complete with all plaster, tiles, cabinet work, external cladding, roof, electrical, plumbing and painting etc completed.

Once the home is delivered to your site our experienced and dedicated onsite team take control to put on the finishing touches, services are connected and before you know it the home is ready for you to move in. No hassles and in your home in approximately 14 weeks.

We will personally work with you to design the best possible home for your circumstances. Our dedicated team will visit your site and work through a relevant plan and price structure. Once you are happy with the plan and price, upon signing a contract we can commence work. We require a 10% deposit at this point with regular building contract payment terms and conditions.


Built Stronger
The main difference between the home being built on your site or in the factory is that in the factory the home is built on a steel chassis in one, two or three parts depending on the home size. From this point, the home is built in exactly the same way although it is stronger as it needs to be braced to stand the transport process from factory to site. A clear indication of the strength is that tiling, plaster etc is completed in the factory and we do not have cracking etc during this process. Our homes are designed and certified by structural engineers to exceed the requirements of the Building Code of Australia and are cyclone rated to W42. Our building system combines the latest in housing technology with traditional construction methods. Because our homes are designed and built with a superior wall and roof bracing system to facilitate transportation, they are actually stronger than a conventionally built house. On site, the home is put together and stands on concrete peers and is tied into the ground using cabling to ensure superior strength.
